Kevin Farinelli is an indie folk singer-songwriter, musician, and board-certified music therapist (MT-BC). Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, he played trumpet from a young age in the jazz tradition before transitioning to vocals and guitar during his undergraduate studies in Music Therapy.
His original indie folk music is inspired by artists such as James Taylor, Gregory Alan Isakov, and The Tallest Man on Earth, and it draws influences from various other genres, including Americana, alternative rock, jazz, and soul.
Kevin’s warm voice, poetic lyricism, and intricate guitar playing create a unique sound that is perfect for a variety of venues: coffee shops to concert halls, house shows to restaurants and bars, and anywhere in between. As a cover artist, his repertoire includes songs from popular artists of many different time periods and styles, including folk, soul, rock, country, and alternative music.
